A shaft of light illuminates the cinema halls of the European Film Festival, bursting out and guiding the audience, showing them where to look, where to lay their eyes. A new glance that welcomes and protects, with passion, the new shades of colour. Warm and sometimes bright tones, which fill the eyes with emotion, among lights, lines and shadows.
It is the everything that originates from the eyes. It is the ‘cinema that moves the eyes‘ and the heart as well, it is going beyond the visible, it is the sometimes silent dialogue between images and stories from all over Europe. A red that ranges from carmine to amaranth, that embraces different cultures and languages within its hues, until it becomes purple when it lands. A primary colour, red, that thrills and catches the eyes and souls and then overwhelms them with an outburst of joy, but also of danger and passion. It is a colour that inebriates and dyes the eyes, skins and hearts.
The European Film Festival has reached its 19th edition and celebrates the seventh art with a poster dedicated to Cristina Soldano, who has guided and directed all the editions of the Festival with love and passion. We are sure she is doing the same this year and she will in the upcoming editions, with alert and careful eyes, with dedication and affection, as she has always done.
