Jasmine Trinca, winner of the David di Donatello 2018, is the actress to whom the “Protagonists of Italian Cinema” section is dedicated. During A with the audience hosted by Laura Delli Colli, the actress will receive the Golden Olive Tree for Career Achievement. Jasmine Trinca has earned a prominent place in Italian cinema by playing a series of both iconic and vibrant female characters; in 2003 she received yet another Silver Ribbon for The Best of Youth by Marco Tullio Giordana, alongside the whole female cast of the film. Two years later, in 2006, Nanni Moretti wanted to work again with her in The Caiman. In 2009 she participated in the Venice Film Festival with The Big Dream by Michele Placido (for whom she later starred also in Romanzo criminale), a film for which she received the Marcello Mastroianni Award.
