As part of the “Waiting for the Festival” initiative, tomorrow is the day of the last event of the CINEMA A CENA series, organized by the European Film Festival in collaboration with bookshop Liberrima All’Ombra del Barocco, which for four weeks has offered a selection of European Film Academy Award-winning films to enjoy while soaking up the convivial atmosphere of the bookshop.
The film scheduled for tomorrow, 4th April at 9 pm, is The Square by Ruben Östlund (Sweden, Germany, France, Denmark, 2017). Best Film and Best Direction EFA 2017.
Christian is the curator of a prestigious contemporary art museum in Stockholm and the loving father of two little girls. There is great excitement in the museum about the opening of an installation titled “The Square”, which invites visitors to altruism and sharing, but when his phone is stolen by a thief, Christian has an over-the-top reaction, triggering a series of events that will throw his respectable life into complete chaos.
