Mirko and Manolo are two young friends living in the outskirts of Rome who attend a Hotel and Catering School and hope to become bartenders. They are two ordinary good guys, until, while driving late at night, they run over a man and leave without aiding him. The tragedy then seems to turn into a stroke of luck: the man they accidentally killed was a former member of a local criminalgang who had later become a police informer, and by killing him they earn a role and the respect and money they had never gainedbefore. Guided by gangster Angelo, they begin to regularly work as killers, without really being aware of the dangerous slope theyare walking on. But this new life comes with a price, and what seemed their pass for heaven turns out to be a ticket for hell.
