Synopsis
Core Preciatu is the story of a team, a family, a faith: Lecce. A documentary that takes us inside the women’s team of Lecce, exploring its values of sportsmanship, sisterhood, and equality. Football — the most beautiful game in the world — told through the eyes of women, professional players who chose shin guards and socks to pursue their ambitions. Women with their own fragilities and sacrifices, driven by the desire to claim their rightful place in a sport that for too long has been seen as a male domain. The home and heart of this great sporting family is the city of Lecce, with its colors, its traditions — both a blessing and a challenge for many players who, by osmosis, share the most preciatu (precious) heart.

“Core Preciatu was born from the desire to reveal the human heartbeat behind women’s football. I sought poetry in the cracks of the locker rooms, in the silence before a match, in the eyes of those who play for love, not fame. Lecce becomes both mother and witness to a collective faith, that of women who turn sacrifice into beauty, reclaiming their right to belong to the most beautiful game in the world.”
