synopsis
Palermo, 2015. Nineteen-year-old Leonardo leaves his hometown to join his sister in London and begin his studies in business. However, his initial enthusiasm soon fades away. Restless, he impulsively enrolls at the University of Siena to study literature. Yet, once again he drops out and decides to immerse himself in the study of Italian ‘bella lingua’ texts. It is going be an academic year of solitude, marked by sporadic and peculiar social encounters and generational confrontations. A year later, Leonardo is in Turin, where he meets a man, a distant family acquaintance, with whom he will have a more direct confrontation than usual.
