Meanwhile, Francesca,Sergio’s mother, is radically changing her perspective on her life, getting closer and closer to her friend Debora, with whom she iscreating a new and more authentic relationship. One evening, she confesses this to her doctor, Guglielmo, whom she met by chancein a bar. Ever since his wife left him, he has lived in a bubble of apathy where the only real contact appears to occur with Ana, ayoung prostitute he regularly sees, who, despite life’s difficulties, has kept her desire to dream.
